Cabras Fc x dover FC partnership

Over the past few years, the partnership between Cabras Football Club (CFC) and Dover FC (formerly known as Dover Strikers) has facilitated numerous improvements to the local soccer landscape. We’re proud to share the evolution of this collaboration, which has strengthened Dover's soccer community and provided more opportunities for players to grow both athletically and personally.

Through this partnership, CFC played a pivotal role in merging the town's travel and recreation programs, creating a more cohesive and efficient system that supports players at all levels. Additionally, we introduced a new "Premier" or "Academy" level of soccer to the town, providing an opportunity for more advanced players to compete in highly competitive leagues such as the Elite Development Program (EDP). These teams participate in top-tier tournaments and are offered a pathway for players who seek to elevate their skills and compete at the highest levels.

CFC’s involvement extends beyond just the top-tier players. Through the partnership, we provide weekly training for all travel teams during the Spring and Fall seasons, helping ensure that every player has access to high-quality coaching and skill development. We also offer goalkeeper training to the entire program, ensuring that every player has specialized support to improve their skills.

In the Winter months, we continue our commitment by providing indoor training for the travel teams, keeping players engaged and fit year-round.

One of the most exciting developments came in 2023, when we launched four teams under the Cabras FC name and badge, managed and coached full-time by our dedicated coaching staff. These teams represent the peak of our player development pathway, where young athletes can refine their skills and prepare for higher levels of competition.

In 2024, our collaboration reached new heights as we revitalized the recreation program. With a focus on inclusivity and community-building, we introduced an in-town recreation league that creates a safe, supportive environment for young players to explore their love for soccer. This initiative has already seen tremendous success in its inaugural season, and we are committed to continuing this growth in the years to come.

We are extremely proud of the progress we've made through this partnership, which has fundamentally improved the state of Dover Soccer. Together, Cabras FC and Dover FC are shaping a brighter future for youth soccer in Dover, fostering talent, community, and a love for the game.

We strive to enhance player health, confidence, emotional development, and overall character.
